Works!!!Just know you need some getting use to it, if you are use to natural (not pharmaceutical) products then go for it. The taste of this is one of green mix with the vitamins pills I take, at first is not pleasant but you get use to it and it will stops bothering you, and since it works I prefere the few seconds of bad taste to the heartburn.In regards to how to take it, we all suffer heartburn differently, my recommendation is that you try what works best, in my case I have to chew it a little bit and swallow little sips of water with it, in my husband case he chews and needs lots of water after, so find what works best for you before giving up.For both of us it works right away! For me it last longer but I will refrain from eating anything that triggers it again, in my husband case he keeps eating like always and dont care until he feels screwed up again to what he then takes another pill and on until he goes back to work and spends long hours without eating.We need them for when we have dinner out, I cook and try to keep all ingredients real, no chemicals, organic when i can afford it to stay away from pesticides, local food, etc. So when we go out for a nice dinner on a Friday night we deal with heartburn.We use to take the chewable Licorice from the same brand and the Acid Block works 10 times better than the Licorice ones.Overall this is a excellent product that works but you have to find your own directions on how it will work with your body.For me it has been a lifesaver.I am much more comfortable if I chew these after eating. I usually keep them near my bed and chew one before I go to sleep if needed. I prefer more of a natural solution as I think the prescription taken too long caused more problems. I have tried many brands and this is by far better than almost all natural ones I have tried. Its my second purchase and will buy more when I run out. It’s not as instant relief as a strong prescription drug but better than other herbal meds I’ve tried if one doesn’t want to take the Ppis and beta blockers for some reason.They are chewable tablets - i somewhat like the taste - it’s not an overly sweet chemical taste but more like green herbs or something.Amazingly effective for sour stomach or indigestion. Some reviews comment negatively about the taste; however, the mild licorice flavor is not unpleasant. . . unless you have an aversion to licorice.This stuff works great for occasional heartburn relief. It seems to work better when I drink lots of water with it. When I don’t drink a full glass of water sometimes my heartburn doesn’t go away. I pair it with some preservative free Aloe Vera inner leaf juice when it is really bad. Works like a charm.
